In acoustics and vibration, we partner with German specialist gfai tech to supply acoustic cameras (NoiseImage, Mikado, Octagon), vibration analysis tools (WaveCam) and the WaveHitMax impact hammer, technology used to identify, visualise and resolve noise and vibration signatures across defence platforms and vehicles, as well as industrial plant, transport and infrastructure.

In underwater acoustics, HW Technologies is bringing gfai tech's HydroVision SeaStar24 passive underwater acoustic camera to Australia.

Its 24-channel hydrophone array and real-time digital beamforming convert naturally occurring underwater sound into 2D and 3D visualisations without emitting any acoustic signal of its own, supporting low-signature situational awareness for naval assets, ports, offshore infrastructure and defence and research operators.

As gfai tech's Australian partner, HW Technologies contributes real-world testing and operational insight from Australian waters directly into the development of the HydroVision SeaStar24, ensuring the system is proven to perform in the conditions that matter to Australian defence and maritime security operators.
