Allship provides mechanical fitting, rigging, insulation, import and export services, as well as a variety of other relevant services through a network of sovereign Subcontractors. Allship maintains contractual relationships with repair agents throughout Australia and abroad in the manufacturing, installation, and repair of Defence parts and components.

Allship has been engaged by Babcock (Australia) Pty Ltd and BAE (Australia Pty Ltd) to provide ship repair, project management and maintenance services to Defence Marine within Australia. Supply Chain Management

Engagement with local Australian industry for supply chain management is critical to Allship’s operations and is on a preferred supplier basis. Allship recognises the strategic importance of Defence and the sovereignty of Defence industry to Australia’s national security. Allship aims to reflect the Australian Government's expectation that companies wanting to work with Allship will support sovereign industrial capability priorities. This means that Allship's clients, subcontractors and suppliers have control over the skills, technology, infrastructure, and intellectual property that underpins the of sovereignty Defence capability.

Australian Industry Participation

Allship is committed to directly engage Australian companies including small to medium enterprises to perform work under prospective contracts.  The scope of work performed by these companies includes manufacturing, logistics, engineering services, preservation solutions, accredited testing, and supply of specialist equipment items.
