SPW (South Pacific Welding)

South Pacific Welding (SPW) has the capability to support Australia’s defence sector with one of the country’s largest networks of welding and industrial supply specialists, combining local expertise with access to leading global brands and technologies. As a Linde company, SPW benefits from access to a global network of experts, providing a solid foundation to confidently meet our customers’ needs locally. 

With more than 80 stores and service locations across Australia and New Zealand, SPW provides defence organisations, prime contractors and subcontractors with convenient access to quality welding equipment, filler material, consumables, weld fume management systems, PPE, service and repairs, and equipment hire (in select locations), industrial tools and technical support when and where they are needed.

SPW can provide you with the Certificates of Conformity and Analysis for your ongoing Quality Assurance procedures while maintaining JOSCAR accreditation ensuring supplier assurance in the aerospace, defence, and security sectors.

SPW works with many of the world's leading welding and fabrication brands, enabling customers to access proven solutions that meet the demanding quality, performance and compliance requirements of defence manufacturing, shipbuilding, sustainment and infrastructure projects.

SPW has worked with overseas manufacturers such as EWM specialising in automation and modern welding technologies. Our experienced team can provide product selection advice, application support, equipment recommendations and technical guidance to help optimise productivity and welding outcomes.

Recognising that every project has different requirements, SPW offers the flexibility to hire or purchase equipment in select locations, allowing customers to scale capabilities according to project duration, operational needs and budget considerations. This flexibility helps support everything from short-term maintenance activities through to major long-term defence programs.

As one of Australia’s largest accredited suppliers and authorised repairer of Lincoln, ESAB, Miller and Cigweld products, SPW has been well placed to provide the necessary support to clients on critical project timelines or shutdowns.
