QMW Industries is an Australian family-owned engineering and manufacturing company established in 1984. From our integrated facility at Acacia Ridge, Brisbane, design, fabrication, manufacturing, testing and certification are delivered under one roof, providing turnkey solutions to the mining, construction, transport, earthmoving, forestry and defence sectors in Australia and worldwide.
QMW is a global leader in the design, manufacture, testing and certified repair of operator protective structures (ROPS, FOPS, TOPS and OPG). Our NATA-accredited laboratory (Accreditation No. 15369, maintained since 2006) performs destructive and non-destructive testing to ISO 3471, ISO 3449, ISO 10262, ISO 12117, ISO 12117.2 and AS 2359.9.
QMW's founder, Jeff Samuels, is an active member of ISO technical committee 127 and Chairman of Standards Australia mirror committee ME063, keeping QMW at the forefront of current and future safety and legislative requirements.
Products include custom turnkey vehicle builds and conversions, on- and off-highway service vehicles and fuel/lube service modules, water trucks and site water tanks (up to 110,000 L), custom fuel tanks, certified operator cabins, machinery attachments, buckets, lifting jibs, tyre handlers, elevating work platforms (MEWPs) and handrail and walkway systems.
Services include mechanical and hydraulic design engineering, structural fabrication, certified welding and CNC machining, blast and paint, certified crane and ROPS cabin repairs, bulk manufacturing for OEMs, and earthmoving equipment repair and maintenance.
ISO 9001 certified since 1997 (Bureau Veritas, ISO 9001:2015) across all manufacturing facilities nationally, QMW is a sovereign Australian manufacturer with more than 40 years of continuous operation, supporting OEMs and heavy fleet operators including Komatsu, Hitachi, Hastings Deering, BMA and South32 - proven capability directly transferable to defence vehicle, protective structure, deployable service module and certified testing requirements.
