Pressure Dynamics is an Australian-owned engineering company delivering specialist hydraulic, mechanical and fluid system solutions to the Defence and maritime sectors. With operations in Perth, Henderson and Darwin, we provide local engineering, manufacturing, shipbuilding and sustainment capability supporting Australia’s naval fleet and Defence industry.

Our shipbuilding experience includes significant involvement in the Arafura Class Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) program, delivering hydraulic and mechanical system installation, tube fabrication and installation, flushing, pressure testing, commissioning and rectification activities. This experience has developed a highly capable workforce familiar with the quality, documentation and technical requirements of complex naval shipbuilding programs.

Beyond new ship construction, Pressure Dynamics provides ongoing maintenance and sustainment services across various classes of Royal Australian Navy and Defence vessels, working with shipbuilders, sustainment primes and Defence industry partners across Australia. Our capabilities support both planned maintenance and responsive repair, refurbishment and troubleshooting requirements throughout the asset lifecycle.

Our core Defence capabilities include hydraulic system engineering, manufacture and integration; hydraulic power units; cylinders, pumps, motors, valves and manifolds; hose manufacture and integrity management; instrumentation tubing and fittings; flushing and pressure testing; contamination control; and equipment overhaul, repair and refurbishment.

Pressure Dynamics also specialises in the inspection, maintenance, repair and commissioning of critical marine equipment including deck and pedestal cranes, davits, launch and recovery systems, capstans, winches, steering systems, watertight doors and other hydraulically operated ship systems.

Combining engineering, manufacturing, testing and field-service capability, Pressure Dynamics provides Defence customers with an Australian-based partner capable of supporting naval platforms from shipbuilding and commissioning through to operational sustainment, upgrades and through-life maintenance
