Amiga is the only company in Australia certified to Metal 3D print in Scalmalloy, a special material developed by Airbus for aerospace and space applications. Additionally, Amiga have begun metal 3D printing in Tungsten, a material used in applications such as nose cones and hot leading edges for hypersonic vehicles. Amiga is the sole company capable of manufacturing titanium ballistic armour using advanced Metal 3D printing technology, collaborating with DSTG and RMIT.

Accredited to AS9100D for Aerospace, Space, and Defence, and ISO9001:2015 for other manufacturing, Amiga Engineering™ is dedicated to excellence in all endeavors. Founded and led by Michael Bourchier, Amiga is the only commercial service facility globally offering 3D printing, 3D scanning, 3D printer sales, CNC machining, fabrication, industrial gearboxes, and industrial maintenance & site services under one Australian-owned roof.

Our Additive Manufacturing facility features cutting-edge technology, including five metal 3D printers using DMP technology, four DLP Polymer printers, an SLS SPro60, an ATO LAB Plus Metal Powder Atomizer, and a GOM Atos-Q 3D scanner. These advanced tools enable clients to transcend the boundaries of conventional manufacturing, fostering new avenues for product development.

Partnered with 3D Systems, Amiga provides premium 3D equipment sales and in-house 3D printed parts, ensuring customers receive top-tier solutions. Amiga Engineering is also proud to manufacture Australia's only locally made brand of industrial gearboxes, "Genat and Wood," serving various industries, including Navy applications. Our gearmotors feature design flexibility and standard IEC flange mount motors, allowing for seamless integration with client-specified motor brands.

Expanding product offerings, Amiga is the Australian agent for esteemed Italian brands of industrial drives such as "Varmec," "Tramec," and "Motomeccanica." This partnership offers competitive pricing and broadens the range of applications catered to.

Strategically located in Tullamarine, Victoria, Amiga have easy access to air, road, and sea transport, ensuring efficient support for clients in critical situations. With over three decades of industry experience, Amiga Engineering™ boasts impressive capabilities, including turning diameters up to 2800mm, milling lengths up to 6000mm, and one of the country's largest vertical borers with a traveling height of 1800mm.
