Established in 2020, ACMIT is an innovative company with experience in research, marine design & simulation, analysis and technology and innovation, and have delivered projects across the maritime and defence industry in Australia. We are a small local SME and we are hoping to expand our presence in Defence.

Australian Centre for Maritime Innovation and Technology (ACMIT) is a Perth-based innovative marine and naval engineering company with presence in Sydney and Melbourne that helps boatbuilders, shipbuilders/designers and oil and gas offshore industry to solve their design problems by research and innovative engineering solutions.

Here at ACMIT, we are currently conducting research on high-tech projects and we welcome Defence sponsorship for building futuristic autonomous amphibious drones.

ACMIT is prepared to cooperate with Defence in any of the above-mentioned areas of innovative design, concept, detail and hull optimisation designs, and beyond.

Moreover, ACMIT is currently focusing on designing and building an amphibious drone which can operate on sea, under the surface and in the air with high Froude numbers and it is seeking sponsorship from interested Defence entities.

We are building and designing high-speed planing trimarans and catamarans which could be used as patrol boats, Autonomous platforms and border police crafts.
