Varley was established in 1886 in NSW as a small plumbing and boiler making business and since then, it has grown to be one of Australia’s oldest and most advanced engineering and manufacturing companies with facilities in eleven locations around Australia and the USA.

Throughout the past century, Varley has steadily grown and diversified its business. This diversification has allowed it to ride the highs and lows of market trends and maintain its financial strength in the face of strong competition, globalisation and the speed in which technologies and markets are changing. More recently Varley Group has begun to diversify its business further through national and international acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic partnerships with leading Defence Technology Companies.
