Outsource Institute (AUS), founded in 1998, is an Australian Engineering College (RTO- registered training organisation), delivering qualifications in Engineering, Welding, and specialised trade & technical skills to the Mining, Defence, Manufacturing, and Engineering sectors both domestically and internationally. For those students who are interested in furthering their studies post their vocational course, we have recognition for our courses in the form of articulation pathways with some of Australia’s top universities: University of Queensland, Southern Cross University, Griffith University, the University of Southern Queensland.

Our customised engineering advanced trade qualifications are aimed at upskilling workforces and individuals to enable them to be formally recognised within their chosen industry, nationally or globally.

Outsource Institute specialise in recognising and enhancing the skills and knowledge of existing tradespeople in the Metal and Engineering sector, many of the students we provide our training services to have basic trade qualifications already but are performing tasks at a higher level and in more diverse fields than a basic trade and therefore need the underpinning knowledge & qualification to advance.

Some examples of Advanced Trade Training in Engineering that we have provided to upskill workforces and individuals in trade and technical skills to enhance Australia's and organisational Sovereign capability include:

1. Australian Defence Force: Outsource Institute is currently offering skill-set training to Australian Defence Force personnel. Through this program, this enables these individuals to apply for an Electrical Fitters licence by providing recognition of prior learning for the relevant skill-set. By doing so, Outsource Institute is supporting Defence Force personnel who are looking for career development opportunities or making a smooth transition to civilian life following their service.
2. ASC Shipbuilding: Presently, we are providing an online delivery of the Advanced Diploma of Engineering and Diploma of Engineering Technical qualifications. These courses aim to enhance participants' skills, enabling them to meet the present and future shipbuilding qualification prerequisites that are pertinent to their job roles.
3. Allship Engineering: Outsource Institute is currently offering on-site trade training for both new and existing workers. In collaboration with the client, we have tailored a training plan that incorporates the essential competencies. This plan enables the workers to acquire the necessary skills, knowledge, and experience to effectively engage in the ongoing upgrades, maintenance, and repairs within the Defence sector.
