Description
Kemppi specialises in manufacturing and supplying welding equipment, accessories and safety gear as well as digital welding solutions. Our sustainable solutions are designed for professionals from industrial welding companies to single contractors to ensure the success of their defence projects.
Since our humble beginnings in 1949, Kemppi’s pioneering spirit in the welding industry has led to innovations and inventions that have become standard solutions for the whole industry. We developed the first inverter power source, and were the first to move from analog to digital welding technology. We also introduced the world’s first universal welding management software (WeldEye) and digital welding procedure specifications (dWPS).
We are committed to improving the quality and productivity of welding with continuous development of the welding arc. Our capabilities are immense and we leverage our state-of-the-art facilities and considerable expertise and technical know-how to deliver the sophisticated welding solutions for which we are renowned.
Today, we provide a broad range of high-performing MIG, TIG and Stick welding machines that deliver quality welds, as well as cobotic and robotic welding solutions that are simple, flexible and secure. To optimise welding performance, we have also released a range of welding software such as our MAX processes and WISE solutions. These can be combined with our digital machines to enhance welding quality and productivity. To allow welding activity to be monitored we launched our cloud-based WeldEye software solution - the world’s first universal welding management software. WeldEye allows welding activity to be monitored for improved traceability, transparent reporting and efficient welding production. Kemppi also provides welding and grinding helmets, torches and our safety gloves deliver top level protection.
Kemppi Australia supplies welding solutions to a range of industry verticals including Defence, Automotive, Construction, Energy, Heavy Engineering, Manufacturing, Mining, and Transport. With a wide range of sophisticated welding equipment and solutions, we are well placed to support the welding of critical defence components and processes.
Kemppi Australia is headquartered in Sydney within a modern facility and employs 22 staff to service the needs of our customers.
Our parent company, Kemppi Oy, is based in Lahti, Finland, and employs over 650 people globally.
