Description
CoolTech is a wholly owned and operated Australian company. Since 2003, CoolTech have been providing marine engineering, design, construction, maintenance, and project management services within Australia’s defence, mining, Super Yacht and associated industries.
CoolTech provides services across the majority of Defence Force platforms, e.g. Border Patrol Cape Class, RAN’s ANZAC, Canberra, Armidale, Sirius, & Collins Submarines.
CoolTech delivers specialist Marine Air Conditioning & Refrigeration services across Australia, and internationally.
Since 2003, the business has expanded and evolved with a strong investment in technology and is now serving a wide range of clients.
2014 - CoolTech chosen by Echo Yachts' as the contractor to design, supply and build the refrigeration and air conditioning on their signature project, 84m trimaran superyacht M/Y White Rabbit – the largest aluminium tri-hull built in Australia.
2016 - With ASP Ship Maintenance, CoolTech completed the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning refits and maintenance of HMAS Sirius.
2018 - CoolTech expanded service offering to include Chilled Water System flushing & Cleaning & Decontamination of Air Ducts.
2019 - Austal Ships awarded CoolTech the installation of the Refrigeration system upon the two new build Cape Class – Trinidad & Tobago.
2020 - CoolTech completed the design, engineering, installation and project management of the conversion of a luxury 23.0m Catamaran’s Air Conditioning to a Chilled Water System & upgraded the Cool & Freezer Rooms.
In addition to an Apprentice Scheme, CoolTech supports the Royal Australian Navy by providing ongoing training to FSU Sailors, upskilling their refrigeration and air conditioning skills, and providing opportunities for support as Service Personnel transfer from active service into the community.
