BRT has been operating since 2010 and was born as a specialised engineering solution provider out of Nautitech and NTC powertrain with a key group of engineers having over 40 years experience in the Vehicle OEM’s of Holden, Ford and Borg Warner.

The Founder and Owner of BRT is listed on over 60 patents globally as the inventor of Dual Clutch Transmission solutions and Engine design for GM, Ford, Mercury Marine, Borg Warner, VW, Bugatti and others to name a few.

BRT’s past successes include DualTronic clutches and controls, multi-speed Marine Automatics, Military Hybrid vehicle design, Off-Road vehicle powertrain development, Underground mining vehicle engine, gearbox and braking systems and is a Multi-Award winning group of engineers with high-volume manufacturing experience.

These days, BRT has progressed into providing low volume manufacturing solutions for the designs it has provided and recently completed the Low-Volume (100-200 units) Manufacture of the front and rear gearboxes for the Award Winning Applied EV Autonomous Vehicle as used by Suzuki.

BRT’s strengths include Root Cause Analysis, Design for Manufacture, FMEA, full production design from Clean sheet of paper through, Concept, Design, Development, Test and ultimately Low Volume Production.

BRT can also integrate existing powertrain systems into vehicles with minimum disruption or can analyse failures in existing systems and design, prototype, test and manufacture a solution.
