Our new BlueScope Distribution National Product, Processing and Solutions Hub in Unanderra NSW is specially designed to deliver centrally managed steel plate processing and project management services to customers supporting large-scale projects in the defence, infrastructure, renewable energy, transport, mining oil & gas, and agricultural industries.

The facility provides world-class plate processing capability, an optimised supply chain solution with diversified transport options, and has its own dedicated project management team to assist customers with the complexities associated with managing significant projects right across Australia. 

With BlueScope Distribution, businesses servicing defence projects can access a comprehensive range of aluminium products, in addition to a full suite of Australian made steel products, including options for quench and tempered steel plate. In addition, we have the technical resources to investigate new grades and non-standard products if required by the project and have the expertise to coordinate supply. We can also source products internationally where needed. Our teams have experience with large projects, including scoping materials, arranging processing, managing project timelines and delivery, ultimately streamlining the end to end supply chain.

With our range of processing services, defence customers can access semi-finished parts, fit-for-purpose, labelled and delivered just in time, this enables our customers to better manage their project inventory and warehouse space. Our processing options include steel plasma cutting, bevelling, blasting and priming, drilling, tapping, aluminium routing, as well as laser cutting, shearing, slitting and PE aluminium sheet coating. We can discuss the needs of your project and develop options for delivering materials as bundles and kits, to further improve production efficiencies. We understand traceability of material is essential, and we offer material test certificates for quality assurance purposes.
