Advanced Navigation was founded in 2012 to commercialise research on AI-driven inertial navigation. Since then, the company has experienced great success and progressed into several deep technology fields, including underwater acoustics, MEMS and Digital Fibre-Optic Gyroscope (DFOG) inertial sensors, GNSS antennas and receivers, radio frequency systems, robotics, and quantum-enhanced inertial navigation.

Advanced Navigation is the only Australian company manufacturing assured PNT solutions. This includes Boreas D90, an ultra-high accuracy inertial navigation system featuring Advanced Navigation patented DFOG technology as well as Light Detection, Altimetry and Velocimetry (LiDAV) technology, which is contracted by NASA to improve reliability of autonomous landing manoeuvres on the lunar surface.
