The Department of Defence wishes to inform industry of the upcoming Industry Consultation Day for Land 907 Phase 2 (LND00907PH2) Main Battle Tank (MBT) upgrade and Land 8160 Phase 1 (LND08160PH1) Under Armour Breaching and Bridging projects (Projects). This notice does not represent a guarantee of future work in any format.
The Industry Consultation Day will be hosted in Melbourne on Wednesday 21 February 2108. The day will commence with addresses from the Director General Land Manoeuvre Systems, BRIG Smeaton and the project director Mr Chuang in respect to the current capability requirements. The addresses will be followed by optional one-on-one sessions between industry participants and a Commonwealth panel (on request). The one-on-one sessions will be conducted on the 21-23 February 2018 and be held at the same venue.
The purpose of the Industry Consultation Day is for Defence to gather information and analyse industry capability and capacity to provide support to the future Projects, including but not limited to operating support, engineering support, maintenance support, supply support and training support.
Registrations close 4:30pm AEDT Friday 9 February 2018.
