Description
The Defence Industrial Capability Plan, launched by Defence Industries Minister Pyne on 23 April 2018, outlines the Government’s vision to build a robust, resilient and internationally competitive Australian industry base that is positioned to help meet Australia’s defence capability needs. The Plan includes:
• A stronger definition of Australian defence industry
• The Sovereign Industrial Capability Assessment Framework
• Sovereign Industrial Capability Priorities
• A $17 million per annum grant program for eligible small to medium enterprises, and
• Opportunities for Australian industry to support the delivery of the Integrated Investment Program
